COVID-19 Update: March 16, 2020

 

The safety and well being of our guests, homeowners, and associates are a top priority for all of us at ABOVE Vacation Residences. In a fluid situation like these days, we ask for your patience and understanding as we strive to strike the right balance of compassion and care for our all ABOVE touches.

 

We understand that you may be experiencing stress given the rapidly changing information on travel restrictions and canceled or postponed public events. We want you to know that we are monitoring the coronavirus (COVID-19) situation closely, keeping those who are affected in our hearts, and are listening carefully to the questions and concerns we receive from all people touched by ABOVE.

 

In response to the dynamic coronavirus (COVID-19) situation, we would like to share actions ABOVE is taking to allow for more flexibility regarding your upcoming travel and Heightened Housekeeping Methods deployed.

 

Cancellation Fees

Guided by our values, we are temporarily adjusting our policies to allow for maximum flexibility to help you make the right decisions regarding travel at this time:

 

Existing reservations for upcoming travel between March 16 and April 30, 2020:

All existing reservations made before March 16, 2020 that are for arrivals between March 14 and April 30, 2020 can be changed to a new date within the year 2020 with no cancellation fee assessed. If you need to move your reservation into 2021, we will reduce the cancellation fee by 50% and leave the rest of your payment as a deposit for 2021 reservation.

 

New reservations for future travel:

Any reservation you make for arrival before April 30, 2020- can be changed or cancelled at no charge up to 7 days before your scheduled arrival. Standard cancellation policy applies within 7 days.

 

Guests who booked via online travel agents or other third parties are advised to contact their booking provider for information on their policies and for assistance.

 

COVID-19 Enhanced Safety and Cleaning at all ABOVE Residences:

We’ve always taken pride in our clean and fresh homes, and we know this is more important than ever. In an abundance of caution, on top of our already rigorous cleaning procedures, our housekeepers have been given an even more robust disinfecting checklist, noting increased attention to heavily trafficked areas and frequently touched surfaces. We have increased cleaning supply orders utilizing CDC-recommended disinfectants and increased frequency throughout your stay. In addition, we have increased the accessibility of hand sanitizers for you and our employees to protect the safety of the community.

 

The below precautionary and response measures are helping us continue to provide a safe and clean environment:

 

We believe in responsible and safe travel while staying vigilant and following the recommended procedures and protocols by the World Health Organization (WHO), U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), and local authorities.
